I got a $100 bill for graduation and I was happy as hell to get that.

If I were the giver of that gift, and saw that ad I would burn the car right where it was parked. That is what spoiled people are made of, and think about all the spoiled people we do service for. You know the ones I'm talking about, they would not offer a drink on a 100 deg day while you are crawling through there 150 deg attic to repair there ill maintained equipment, and at the same time complaining how hot it is, and then after its repaired how much it cost. Piss on that, I hope no one buys that car.

A few years back I had a 1988 BMWe that was purchased by a mother and father for their son. It was a beautiful car but the economy model and just didn't go fast enough for me.
So this mom and dad purchased it for their 16 year old son who was in high school. Three days after they took it he called me and said "we have a problem. Mark (whatever his name was) doesn't like the car."
Give me a break. In high school with a BMW and he doesn't like the car!

When we had cars in high school, you had to start them with hammers, screw drivers and 3 guys pushing and one steering.

My first car in school was a 61 Ford Falcon that the compression was so low that you could keep the car in gear and push it without pushing in the clutch!:gah:

My 1st car was a 71' Buick I bought for 1 dollar and it ran but needed a lot of work. I was happy that it rolled. Bought the car in 86'. Before I picked up that car I drive my dads station wagon with the fake woodgrain sides. Not one of my friends ever said a word, we were able to go somewhere thats all that counted.

My school car was a '63 Plmouth Valiant bought for $50. My father and I rebuilt the motor and my brother and myself used the car thru high school. Slant 6,standard, no a/c and glad to have.

I didn't get a car till I was like 20. I got a little motorcycle when I was 19 and drove it year yound, cold, rain whatever.
First car was a wrecked 68 Impala, driver door wouldn't open, no heat, window wouldn't go up all the way. Let me tell you, in the winter up here that was one cold ride. Plus I was always working on the effing thing.
But unless you experience that, and being broke and being on your own, you don't appreciate it when you do have money.

I also didn't get my first car until I was 20. A 1978 Ford Fairmont 4 cylinder with 4 speed manual. It had intermittent head lights. Sometimes they just went out while driving. Had a "rockin" Kraco stereo kit that came complete with deck, 2 6X9's and a graphic EQ all for $39.99 at K-Mart. Bought the car for $300.

her parents raised her like that, so they deserve it.
They bought her a blue car.

Spoiled? For sure. My first ride was a '65 Vee Dubya beetle. No heat, not even enough air movement to call it defrost. Needed an ice scrapper inside while you were driving.

If that was my kid, I would smack em till I got bored.
I wouldn't even buy them a car for graduation.
Get a job, buy your own car and pay for your own insurance.
First car 1980 Plymouth Volare 2dr. Did not want to run in the rain (was actually one of the nicer cars I ever owned after I fixed it up and painted it). Bought it with money I saved from working and graduation money.
I also had a K-mart stereo package. The am radio did not last long in that car.
Edit:I just saw the first you tube vid. Unreal.
Good Grief, I just saw the second vid. You gotta be kidding me.
