"Aerco" benchmark 2.0 low NOx boiler ?

First off I have yet to study up on these, but have skimmed through the manuals and I have spoken with the several that have been fooling around with these things.

We have (2) of these recently installed that have been nothing but a problem since day number one :Faint:

The lockout codes seem to be primarily "IGN board comm fault" and I believe some other type of comm fault? These are manual reset lockouts for the boilers :beat:

Both are tied into a "BMS II" and that does something :LOL: once again still reading up on these things :whistle:

Can anyone provide a little insight on these boilers and their issues??

Sounds like you my have an issue with the ignition stepper. It is part of the air/fuel valve. Take that O & M and read the sequence of operation, on a call for heat. Compare that information with what the air/fuel valve is actually doing.

I'm not Aerco certified or trained. If there is a problem, you'll have to find someone in your area who is. Especially, if it has gone out on IGN Board Comm Fault several times.
