You could try using a swamp cooler and ducting it above the work area.

Is the dry cleaning area air conditioned? How many machines do you have? Do you have a separate maintenance corridor behind the machines?
Most dry cleaning stores I've been in are pretty low budget and probably wouldn't spend the money they should on ventilation.

Just remember you may have to use explosion proof fan motord due to the flamable fumes from the cleaner. Check with your local inspector on the codes.

Thanks, The location has an exhisting RTU with gas heat. I have an inspection set up for Monday. The space is basicly wide open . It is the middle unit in a four row strip mall. Single tenent on left with a laundry mat. Right side has retail space using two units. The laundry mat on the left has 16 large gas driers . The makeup air is via two 24x24 atmospheric vents. The laundry mat is in a negetive and all the fumes are infiltrating the space. The wall between the two spaces was not sealed properly, this has been corrected. At this stage of the game I have one enviromental enginer hired by the building owner and the state DEP looking for a resolution. I see swamp coolers all the time used for make up air. I am looking to explore all options at this point. I just want ot find the correct design path.
