Guys,
I was on a job and installed my first EMI ductless split.(I have installed other brands.)
M# WHP30
It has a built in touch pad controller in lower left hand corner. The directions say a remote hand held controll can also be purchased for remote operation.
I also know I have to install a trans in cond since evap and cond do not have them inside. Wiring print on evap shows R-Y-C interconnect.
My question is this: My office says that you can mount a hard wired wall stat to this evap????? However there is nothing on this unit that says that is possible???
since this unit is infrared controlled???
I do know that on there other models with out infrared a wall stat is needed. But in checking the manuals,they show diffrent wiring if it is a HP or staight cooling. Shows nothing on using a hard wired stat on the infrared model!
Please advise if you are familiar with unit.
