We have a McQuay absorbers and we finally found our leak in the system. It turned out to be in the filtering system that we had installed to clean up the lithium bromide, the canister had a pin hole in the bottom and when the #1 absorber pump shut down and the system went back into a vacuum it was sucking air. Now my question is why does the refrigernt water look cloudy? It normally does this when we shut down to clean the cooling water filters, after about an hour it clears back up. The unit model is a TSA-DC-42S-R2-Z 500 ton absorbers.
