Your little bird is right. Just got 2 neat ones from ricm. Getting harder to find ones I don't have.

I've got a emblem from a 1980 Carrier 19DH-450 ton chiller. It's about 10" long and 2' high and made of, I guess brushed aluminum as apposed to the now blue oval and says "Carrier Liquid Chiller". There kinda cool and I have a couple and wanted only one so figured one of you guys might want one.

Hey Loonie... glad to hear they arrived safe 'n sound. I have just recently aquired one from another Canadian made furnace ... Coranado... even took the data tag off of it, so you have info where it was made. I'll fire that one off to you soon.

What year were you born Mattman? Do you have a REX Water Heater emblem? I'd guess 80+ yrs old.

I know a 25 year old emblem aint exactly old but it's cool. Our water heater was a soup pot over an open flame. :D

LUXURY!!

Our water heater had to be carried down to the river by six oxen, over 80 miles of hills and mountains... Fire had to be made by rubbing two sticks together! And if it was stormy enough... we kids had to run around the yard to attract lightning so Mom could spark up the fire!

And we were soooo excited to have that privilage, our Dad had to beat us to sleep with a flaming stick!!!

Well. I had to carry my brother 5 miles up hill both ways to school in 12" of snow barefooted, cause it was his turn to wear the shoes every day since dad liked him more.
