2011 Tax Credit

I apologize if this has been posted already, but I looked for it and couldn't find it.

Tax Credit for 2011 will be:

10% of the cost of new equipment installation, up to $300 for an AC, Heat Pump, or Water Heater. Up to $150 for the furnace or hot water boiler. Up to $50 for a system that has an advanced main circulating fan.

So a total of $500 for a qualified system. Qualifications look to be the same as the previous tax credit. Saw this on ACCA's website today while working on some marketing plans, so just wanted to post as an FYI.

Yup, posted a few days ago. No doubt the question will be posed here 1,000 times in the next year. Quite a change from the current $1,500 to $200 for a furnace. I would be surprised if residential HVAC doesn't drop off a good bit next year.
