We have a 1.5yr old Goodman GKS89 that just stopped working today. We think it could be a ventilation problem from all of the snow (we have over 20 inches!)
Other than the two pipes at the front of the house, where else should we clean out for venting? The furnace is in the basement and vents out the front of the house along the foundation. We've cleared the pipes but it is still not blowing hot air.
Thanks!

Shut off the power for a minute - board might need to be reset.

If the inducer ("venter motor") isn't running, the problem isn't related to blocked pipes.

AMD-
Thanks, we've shut the power off and even flipped the circuit breaker. The furnace runs, it just blows cold air. Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

so the burner is lit right?, not just inducer fan and blower running. very important to know the differance. and I hope being you are getting cold you have called a service company and not just relying on a web site for your families well being.

yes, service co. called, but since it is a blizzard no one will come out until tomorrow at the earliest.

if burner is running, it just may be that the conditions you are encountering and the heat lost in your home your funace may not be able to recover.

I know about that storm, we just got 8-10 inches. We only get snow 1 inch a year, I have had my phone ringing off the hook.
