Has anyone ever seen this vent type? HO said the gas company put a tag on his Goodman in 2000,saying the vent was recalled and should be replaced. Had a service call there today,he had water dripping from the vent. The caulking was gone around the bottom cap. Furnace was 75,000 input and 60,000 out. The vent is like PVC pipe. Black and is vented out the side of the house just like PVC. How can this vent have condensation at 80%? It is a 8 foot run to get outside.

Just did some research. Goodman. Have to call a recall support number to get vent replaced.

Call the company that made the furnace or boiler, ask for tech service. Nothing makes tech happier than to get that stuff replaced. CPSC makes the vent company have a corrective action program (C.A.P.)
Hurry, 'cause Selkirk is having a funding "situation". I think the others are OK.

One website said Goodman is giving the HO an option...install a 90+% and just pay for the manu. cost of the furnace. No install or other material costs.

That type venting is illegal now.
You need to install a power venter or sell them a 90%+ furnace.
