copeland compressor

i have a baliy walk in meat cooler that the compressor quit on i would like to know the size of the replacemant compressor needed. the old compressor is a copeland kal-0100 230 v single phase 1 hp. there is no btu rating on this compressor any where.

That is a 1Hp compressor. Just give the parts house that number on the compressor and they will hook you up with the right one.

What quit or went bad?

What refrigerant are you changing to?

Air cooled or water cooled?
