AprilAire Starts then Stops in 2 seconds

I have been noticing that my aprilaire starts then turns right off. clunk on then clunk. off...other times it starts then runs for a long time then turns off.

its been about a year now and I've never been happy with how loud it is .. it can be heard thoughout the house. so can the other one i have upstairs....

I have it hooked up with an external sensor that controls the humidity..

any ideas?

I have heard that the Honeywells are much much quiter...

just a idea but maybe you should call a tech to come fix it!

Yes, call a tech and have him/her see if there is an Aprilaire current sensing relay gone goofy. It happens.
