I have 2 proposals that I am considering for a completely new HVAC install for a home that is approximately 4000 sq ft. I want to do it right. I have a lot of respect for the postings I've read over the last month, and I appreciate any time you have to comment on the proposed systems. The following are the comparisons:

Basement and 1st floor (floor registers on 1st floor):

Trane TUX080, 92%, 80,000 BTU or Bryant 315AAV048090

look at carrier puron infinity or their higher eff systems the infinity is i believe the best system on the market. just go with the contractor you feel most comfortable not just the best price.. but from what systems you are looking at i think you are not just looking at the price but also quality of the system and contractor which in the end will make you and you're family very comfortable.
