Carrier 5H86

Had a request for a 5MH86 Carrier compressor. Carrier only shows a 5H series in the marine site. Is there a 5MH compressor in the first place. Or is someone pulling a fast one.

you are correct, the compressor would be a 5H series. The number 5Mh86 is an actual part number for the crankshaft if that is what they are looking to replace?

5MH86 is indeed a crank...

You have to be careful with these because Carrier does not recommend the crank be machined to repair (not saying it cannot be done).

On the standard stroke machines (5H80) it is standard operating procedure to cut them down to up to .020" under....
