Hi, Am in the process of doing a pump rebuild on a ABTE1060 and was wondering if any of you know where I can find diaphrams for the few ITT hand valves on the machine. Most of the Hills-Mcanna and Saunders diaphrams are still available from Trane but having trouble finding the ones for the 1/2", 3/4" hand valves and the 2" bypass economizer ITT valves. They must of been installed after the 1st. rebuild years ago. Also, I have the carbon bearings and seals for the pump but can't seem to find anyone with the carbon and thrust bearings for the 30 H.P. Franklin Electric motor.
Trane tells me they're not available any longer. Nothing wrong with the motor that I know of but would like to install new bearings as long as everything is open. Thank You!

Trane probably has ITT diaphragms but I try never to buy from them. I buy ITT and Hills McCanna diaphragms from J O Galloup a pipefitting supplier in Michigan. You can find them on the web or google ITT diaphragm valves and the first listing should be ITT's valve site and from there you can find other suppliers. They are called Dia-Flo valves and you want grade B, butyl diaphragms for a 2401 body.
Trane is the only source for the motor bearings. I have looked into this in the past and Franklin quit making the motor and even they do not have parts. But I made a call and was told Trane has both bearings in stock at the factory. They changed the thrust bearing number to BRG-1249 it replaces KIT-516, it is a different style also. The other bearing is BRG-517. The thrust bearing is around $3600 and the other $225. Try Trane again

Thanks for all the info.. I really appreciate it. Before I really get into this thing, is there only one additional carbon bearing in the motor and 1 thrust bearing? I have 2 other carbon bearings for the pump and I believe one was a BRG-517. I have to go look. Just don't want to buy more then I need. Trying to get all the parts here for the complete job. I guess what I see at this point is 2 carbons for the pump, 1 carbon and 1 thrust for the motor?

Motor requires 2 carbon bearings #BRG-517, mounted on each end of the rotor. One thrust bearing #BRG-1249. And one other kit #KIT-515, this has 2 o-rings that will be used on the motor ends that will be removed when you disassemble it.

ITT 1/2" diaphragm is DIA00002, ITT 3/4" purge valve is VAL01629 this is the whole valve, 30 H.P. thrust is BRG01249, 30 H.P. motor seal kit is KIT00515, carbon motor bearings for 30 H.P. is 2 each BRG00517, all for Franklin. I could'nt find the number for the 2" ITT. We allways replace the whole valve on the 3/4" purge valve by taking bonnet off and spinning the body off.

Thanks for all the help! Greatly appreciated. I ordered the ITT diaphrams from a local distributor and the Saunders and Hills-Mcanna from Trane. All the bearings coming from Trane as well as the seal kit for the motor.
