I'll try to keep this short:

Supertight house (SIPS)
Central Indiana, 1800 sf ranch w/ full basement
I want to ventilate via HRV tied to central air handler
Nobody (HVAC techs) I've spoken to really know enough about HRVs to make me feel good

Are there any HRVs that don't use an internal blower motor--just the air handler to move air? Or can you simply not wire the motors and rely on the air handle to move the air?

I'd like to use an intermittent method much like the Aircycler, but I'm having trouble finding the info to give the techs to help in the design. Any suggestions? Hints? Anyone?

You can run an HRV intermittently with a dehumidistat.
