Hello:

I just purchased the Honeywell HE365B humidifier with a H1008 humidistat. I have installed to the letter of instructions and the unit appears to be functioning correctly. The unit kicks on in test mode, good water flow in drain tubing when humidifier kicks on and stops when it turns off. I am registering 27 volts coming off the humidifier Hot / Common leads. I believe the unit has a transformer that takes the 110 and should convert to 24 volts. The valve is new so I don't belive there can be any dirt or obstructions.

Basically the Solenoid buzzes constantly when the unit is running (humidifying) but stops when it turns off.

Hoping someone can give me some direction. The Tech support is thinking it could have shipped with a bad transformer or solenoid. Just wondering if there might be another cause.

Thank You

Whats your voltage at the solenoid? Is the solenoid mounted securely?

I think the transformer is mounted on the board. If so, you have to change the whole board.

As I said above, my problem was in the relay. The relay is also mounted on the board. I had to replace the board.
