Drilled six holes for geo, ten feet apart. Hit water in every one. Driller estimated flow at 20 gal minute in at least three holes. Found water @ about 80-100 feet. I am thinking with flowing water the holes cannot be grouted or only partially grouted but then water is good.

Ideally, a pump and return should work great with those flows. Greatly depends on your state water rights laws as to how complex your permit system would be. Biggest problem likely regulations vs. technical.

If it were my own field and could not do a pump and return (or even pump and dump), would grout only down to the water levels, lots more heat transfer in flowing water than thru grout.

We use pea gravel instead of grout when we hit water.

Be sure you clear witih your state regulators before using the water as the transfer medium. At the relatively shallow depts your hitting, you're in ground water in all likelihhood. In our state, ground water must be SEALED from the deeper well water to prevent contamination. We do standing columns and wells are from 400 to 1500 feet deep. The shaft must be sealed down to bedrock to prevent cross contamination with ground water mixing with the deep water aquifers.

You'll get much higher efficiencies with pure water but just be sure it's a legal arrangement.

We always back fill the entire colum. water or not.

First of all, what was the depth of the wells? Secondly, what is the composition of your soil? Thirdly, how much mess he created drilling those holes? And lastly what he was charging you per foot?

Yes, water is good as long as it is not hard and PH is around 6-7. In this case you can consider converting to open loop instead of closed one

if the hole hasn't collapsed then it can be grouted as your driller should know these things...as well as code and state law

I wasn't aware of poly pipe being PH sensitive

Who said it is. Are you going to use poly pipe for heat exchanger too????
