hey guys

i have to rebuild a 3 hp quincy a 240 pump tomorrow

i have the connecting rod bearings, rings, valves, etccc

i do not have torque specs???????????????????

anybody got anything???

Be sure you properly lock down the valve gut cartridges as you put the valve train back together. The exhaust has adjuster under the nut, and the intake has an adjuster if you unscrew the unloader off the head. You don't want the valve guts to be loose.
If it has the unloaders on it, carefully inspect the inserts and springs. The intake valve springs have a tendency to eat though the bottom of the valve assembly. You probably want to disassemble the oil pressure driven valve on the oil pump that controls the unloaders, and clean it up so it all works freely. Have seen ones that wouldn't load up because that little air valve was gunked up.

Sorry I don't have the torque specs. Been a while since I had one apart.

Quincy has a bunch of lit on their site, have to register but may be what you need is there?
