Hello all!
Intro:
I will design any refrigeration system for you for free!
I need to get some designs out there to other qualified people who will either accept them or say go back to school.
About me:
Licensed refrigeration contractor in the State of Michigan.
Ferris State Graduate BS in HVACR.
Been doing this thing for about 12 years - industrial HVACR.
Just need to launch.
Looking to start my own Refrigeration / Controls company and need to get my ideas out there.
Would not be a problem or a question for you except the state of michigan and its residents are really not putting new systems or retro fits up to stay fresh. That is key, I need to stay fresh!

Interesting proposition.
So you want us to give some hypothetical systems to design, is that it?
I'm thinking we can "role-play" as customers, give you the job requirements, conditions, etc and then critique what you come up with.
I'm game. ;)

Just thowing the ball up there and seeing where it lands.
If you need help designing or coming up with something - willing to help.
All I need you to do is fill out the online design form and email it back - they will be in word.
Role play is fun but I think I did enough of that in College for 4 years. Its time to get something out there, ya know!
The only way the old guys got good was by doing enough of it, they practiced what they were preached.
Just need to get the ball rollin'
Thanks
You can email me if you want

I only mention role playing because I thought you just wanted to get some practice doing design work. If it has to be a real job, I do my own. ;)
BTW...Email addresses aren't allowed in posts. (They attract bots.) You should put it in your profile.

Hello Sir
Thanks for the info about the email, I never considered uncrypted linking from one site to another, I appreciate it.
Role playing is cool, I am not against it at all, would prefer real life, but I am game for something, AND I would definitely listen to a seasoned pro like yourself for any advice! You are the one thats answers most of the questions on here anyways!
Thanks Man!
Brian

product entering temp?
product final pull down temp?
What kind of product, which would dictate more or less TD. (humid versus dry)?
Doors?
Lighting?
Heavy or light traffic.
Ambient?
how we managing condensate?
Roof, on slab condensing unit?

Dow,
Are you asking me these questions in reference to my example?
This is an easier calculation to perform. Standard rest supplies signifies mixed product being loaded from a refrigerated truck.
I did fail to mention it has 1 door.
durussell can use a loadcalc manual, Heatcraft for example, to determine the ambient comditions (I listed it as Las Vegas) for the unit, evap TD, door usage (its a restaurant), lighting watts, run time, product load in lbs (there are charts in the manual) etc.
