I know this is a HVAC forum but I saw a Rheem on demand hot water tank installed by a homeowner while on a service call. What suprised me was that the flue was ran ino the chimney along with the furnace. If I'm not mistaken, aren't they supposed to be vented individually? Does anyone know where I can get a install manual to read up on this or does anyone know for sure if this is the incorrect way of doing it? Sorry no pics.
