M working on a cold table that have r404 a gas . I found the unit not cooling so I said to costumer let change the txv. Which then I ran in to a problem where the old txv. I couldn't make out the numbers so I call the compressor in and got a txv for the compressor size now I've waited like 25 minutes and the unit hasn't dropped . Wellmy pressure is 275 on the high side and 47 on the low side any help would help.

Hmmm.

Not quite enough data to help you out.

Please post a full set of operating conditions and maybe you'll find more assistance,

Why did you condemn the TXV in the first place? Did you check anything else first? Or just look at it and say "YUP" I think we need a TXV.

It has been my experience that this type of equipment has valves that are OEM and usually a version just for them.

When tables are not cooling, it depends on more than the txv, is this unit one with a cold wall type evaporator, or does it have a fan and coil type?

there is much, much, needed.

with those pressures your evaporator should be cold, unless you are undercharged, and or have non-condensables in it.

A lot of cold pans I work on just piddle for the first 30 minutes or so and then when they get to 27F or so they start dropping in earnest and by 1 hour they are at an operating temp of 0 to -1F.
