Ive had permanent red eye, my left only., for about 8 years now. Its red blood vessels just beneath the surface of the white portion of the eye from the outer corner to the center. Putting Visine drops in helps...but only for a while. So...i decided to go to a Board Certified Opthamalogist today ; after doing alot of tests ...he concludes that 'he doesnt know whats causing the redness and the only way of finding out is to take a small piece of it for a biopsy' . He said to come back in 6 months so he can see if its spreading or not. I guess i was hopeful that he could give me some special drops or do lazer surgery on it to break it up .
If you have the same condition, have you had yours diagnosed ? If so, what did they tell you ?
I dont have any pain with it, it doesnt affect my vision, i dont get night halos while driving , and i cant even feel it. Maybe ill seek one more professional opinion...although this Dr. this morning has over 35 years experience under his belt.
