Ok now that its OBVIOUS that they are good, lets talk about Roethlisberger. This guy is unreal, I didnt watch him in College though. Anyone? Watched his last 2 games, and he has poise like none other. Thoughts?

Dice I know you already have his posters on your walls right :)

Even a blind squirle fines a nut, once in awhile. I just can't believe Dice got it right 2 weeks in a roll, he's not that smart. :D

We have waited for a QB for a long time. Looks like he has arrived. Ben played at Miami (Ohio) so he didn't get much tv time. He looks real good so far, reminds me of Elway. But the credit has to go to the offensive line. Those guy are just dominating the line of scrimmage. Having great running backs and recievers has helped take the pressure off of Ben. I like his size at 6-5, 240lbs he's like a linebacker. Very hard to bring down.

I liked Hines Ward doing the eagle dance best.:D

Guess I better hang on to all the Big Ben stuff I collected. Sure beats selling furnaces.

There is some info on Ben at this site.

Right now the Steelers are kicking ass and taking names.
Lots of football left. Ben is very good regardless.
I think young, 1st round picks need to play early in their career, this stuff of them sitting the bench for a few years and learning the system is bunk. The great majority of them have been playing this game their entire life.
Put em in coach, see what they got, like Big Ben.
All the single women in town want to marry him too.
My daughter was at the game yesterday.

After 7 years of Kordell, Maddox was like having Joe Montanta.
He did very good in the 1st game against Oakland.
It is great knowing he is there just in case.
He ain't Ben but he ain't Kordell either.....:D

this morning. Sounds like Denver has worked out a trade for Ben. Gonna send ya Plummer. That way you can have another ex-Colorado crappy QB.

Seriously....... that game wasn't on here. Wish I'da saw it. That and the Pats FG/TD fake.

It would have been worse, but the Steelers just ran the ball and the clock, they even took a knee at the end and gave the ball back to Philly with time on the clock.
BUT, now the Steelers have a target on them and everyone will try like heck to beat them. 2 tough away games coming up. Got a long way to go yet.
Funny though, about starting young guys. When Ben first came here he sucked in practice, the coaches were like, man this guy is bad, what were we thinking??? So....ya never know.

As much as I can't stand the Squeelers, I have to give respect where respect is due !! The Squeelers have the best receiving core in the NFL and that was before Ben took over !! Now they are pretty freakin good !! OK I have kissed their a$$ enough. I can't wait till the meet the Ravens again though !! :) :) :)

Should be another good game. Anything can, and usually does, happen during these division games.

The Steelers never even punted in the Philly Cheesteak game.
They gave up 28 yards rushing, total, in the last 2 games and held the ball over 40 minutes in each game as well.
We'll see if they can keep that up all year.

Thanks for the Kordell flashback, but you got me thinking.

How's this for a crappy QB list:

Stout, Malone, Woodley, Brister, O'Donnel, Miller, Tomazak, Stewart
