One was the symbol of communism. One was a symbol of pacifism. Which one had a greater effect on the world ?

It's too late for me to think about that one right now...

Then you had those sex symbols, the Lennon sisters from the Lawrence Welk Show.

One was stallin' for Peace, the other wanted a piece of Stalin. They're both dead, why try to Kruschev-fy them now? Well, gotta Trotsky...

One represents force the other represents choice. Which one is more like you?
I imagine (no pun intended) we all have some of both in us, but look deep at your core. If you had the power, would you choose tyranny, or freedom? Remember power corrupts.
Is it possible to honestly answer this question, about oneself?

I am still not convinced they were Doctors. You know he was rejected by the gay asso. I think he flunked the physical.

Midhvac, come on you’re an intelligent man. You can think outside “the box”. You must have some sort of spin on this subject, no? Is it that stupid of a question? The ravings of a mad man, maybe. What do you think?

Yeah, ...they were distant cousins, twice removed on their fathers side and also related the the Marx Brothers....
Groucho, Harpo,Chico, Zeppo and Karlo (who founded communism) who'da thunkit I loved their movies.

This is some deep stuff, but it's not thinking out of the box for me, because I'm a pacifist at heart, so I'd try to make change happen in that way.

I think you been smoking some of that stuff.
Just trying to compare Lenin with Lennon says so.
How many songs did Lenin write anyway?
And I would pick tyranny only if I get to be the tyrant;)

Why did Lennon do "Back In The U.S.S.R" ? A dedication to Lenin ?

Does one have to smoke that stuff, to see the stark contrast? Lennon was accused of being, what Lenin was. Just because he spoke out.

================================================== ==========
The only thing I ever accused Lennon of was marrying that UGLY woman(?). Not only is she ugly, she ain't real bright. I guess he paid a high enough price for marrying her...being married to her.

John Lennon spoke out, it got him harassed, investigated by the Federal Government, and Slandered in the press. He took a lot of the heat generated by the Anti-War movement. He was singled out for his views; he was going to be the example. In a sense Lennon was the free world version of Solzenitzen.
I find it ironic, the way John Lennon’s privacy was violated in the free world, is more like what you would expect in Lenin’s world. All because, he disagreed with the powers that be.
Dissent is critical (no pun intended), if we are to remain free.

We've all been dissenters at one time or another, but few of us make millions doing it. Those of us who aren't famous have to be more cautious. We don't get investigated by the FBI, we get shot in the arse with rubber bullets :)
None of that should be too much of a problem for Dice, from what I understand, Mid. :D
