Can you spin it manually?

Its probably frozen.

Or a wire pulled from a connector on motor.

Check if it's frozen or stuck on the stripper first.

If not is freezer less then 12 degrees?

Check for open motor or t-stat.

I used to say throw in a 241642501 and go from there. But they have gotten pricey enough to check for the little problems in the unit.

First there is a metal wire "shut off arm", see if that is in the up or down position. It should be in the up position to make ice.

Grab the prongs on the ice ejector, and slowly turn it by hand (it will be hard to turn) approx 1/8th to 1/4th of a turn towards the inside of the cabinet, the prongs on the ejector should be sitting at the 10 o-clock position, you will need to move it to the 11 or 12 o-clock position. At that point it should automatically complete its cycle. if you can't turn it then the motor is probably froze up.

if you hear the motor try and turn it or it's not in the 10 o-clock position, pop the face plate off the ice maker there should be 2 gears, if i recall correctly they are plastic, see if one or both are stripped out.

Let me correct Texas. The icemaker arm must be in a DOWN position to allow the thing to cycle. Grabbing and turning icemaker ..ahh not really recommended. WHY? Gears are all plastic. You will bust it then. Pull the cover off and LOOK to see if there are any broken teeth on those plastic gears. If no, get yur meter and check the test points. Check for T'stat open, voltage to the motor, motor ohms, etc. I used to repair icemakers but no more. Just replace em now a days. They are about $75
