My double-wide mobile home has an INTERTHERM Furnace, approx 4 ft tall. It's approx 7 years old. All of the "electronics" check out, blower, etc. Pilot light fires up, makes whistling noise as it heats up. But the computerized functions don't seem to be responding properly. Over the past 2 years we've had the electronic igniter replaced, and the ceramic wand that goes into the pilot light (general Plumb & heat maint, not Intertherm knowledgable). For some reason furnace will only operate at about 70%, no matter how long it runs. Home won't get above 65 degs.
A knowledgeable mobile home maint person told me to check around for someone trained in INTERTHERM furnaces, but also suggested that I look into the "Limit Switch". Does anybody know what/where this Limit Switch is, and also how I might find out what Plbing & Hting Maint are Intertherm trained here in Anchorage?

There are alot of different things that could cause your problem. Any heating company should be able to work on your furnace reguardless of the brand. Look in the phone book and call a licensed heating contractor.
