I think what A-Rod did was OK, I also agree with the call. Had he just let himself be tagged out with no resistance I would have a problem with that. They are playing for the right to go to the WS. You do anything you can to get there. He was out regardless, so ya gotta try.

The first thing I was taught about playing ball is don't plan to cheat, but take anything you can get away with.

Baseball needs a review system like the nfl uses. They don't even put replays up on the big screen.
If that play would have stood and Boston lost I think they would have started up another revolution.
A-Rod could have maybe ran into him, that is legal, swatting his hand like a girly man is not.

Anyway, baseball sucks, 2 biggest payrolls playing again, year after year.....what fun, huh?

Used to go to lots of Pirates games. They now have possibly the nicest ballpark in the country right now here in Pitt.
A lot of good it does, we can watch them not compete in nice surroundings.
Yeah I know, every so often a Minnesota type team does good but overall, most of the cities just play for fun.
