OK, his kid is taking over the biz soon. He still has a few good years left in him though......what to do???
Go around the world scuba diving, drink Coors light all day, send out UPS packages to Steeler fans..........what??
He is already on cable access tv up there and well known in the community.....he has the only hvac biz in town so gets all the work.........he will be bored without feeling productive....I am sure of that........
Run for mayor of Bennington......go for it, it is perfect for ya.
After that who knows, maybe gov or senator and then........

Anyway, he seems to vote on current issues and not just along inbred party lines.
What we need is more good people in office......period.
Some day the repub vs demo thingy will be gone and we will really take the country to new heights for all of us.

Wouldn't that be nice..........

And maybe elections could be run with ads telling WHY TO VOTE for a candidate, not just WHY NOT to vote for his opponent. I'm so tired of this election I wish I could just go to Guam for the next 2 weeks and see what happened after it's over.

Why the hell Pete Coors is running for Senator. He has no qualifications, It will be hard for me to vote for him other than he's for lower taxes and just in case Kerry slips into office..............

Hey how did I miss this thread? Well I did. Hence, I will respond with my greatest dispatch.

I ain't leaving this cushy job for another 2 years. My friends who are older recommend retiring at 62 because it is the best deal for trying to break even on your SS. It will take that long to make sure my son can drive this ship by himself. His attitude changed (for the good) since we signed the papers.

Then when I am 62 I'll help out as needed. Also I want to be a helper (mate) on a dive boat down in Florida. I'll work for free air and dive time. All I have to do is help those frail young things, with the big hooters, get in and out of thier wet suits. :)

As far as politics?? I already told the Select Board (town concil) that I'd rather have a stick in my eye than be a Selector. But maybe someday I might run for Justice of the Peace.

All the French-Canadian guys come down to Lake George and lay out on the Million Dollar Beach every summer. They wear bathing suits like that Vance dude has on. Only difference is that the Canadian boys must work out on the penis enlargement pump all winter.
