outlook 2010

i Have outlook 2010 64 bit,
I have been syncing my palm with 03 but the new computer has office 2010.. so is any one syncing their calendar with 2010?
if so what phone/pda are you using?? It is time to say good by to the PDA apparently and go to something else I simply have not found a combo that I know will actually be compatable.

Alright, a 64 bit adopter...good for you. There is an unfortunate problem with Office 2010 64 bit at this point though...While the hardware side of the computer world has been ready for 64 bit for some time now, the software side really isn't. Generally, any kind of cable-sync software needs to install an add-in for Outlook, but I'd be surprised if any of those add-ins are compatible with 64 bit Outlook. Being a Palm, I'd be surprised if you see a software release that is compatible.

I believe that the Office 2010 media includes both 32 and 64 bit, so you may want to uninstall 64 bit and install the 32 bit edition in its place. Even Microsoft is recommending that everyone install the 32 bit version unless working with huge spreadsheets. The Palm may just work with the 32 bit edition.
