Manitowoc Factory Service School
I’ve picked up a customer that has 14 plus machines. All have been neglected. I have fixed 3 units so far. Two units were easy fixes. One unit took the 178 page manual and a lot of reading to fix. I’m thinking about going to this school. Trying to decide if I should go.

look to see if there are any 1 day seminars available in your area. i doubt they cover any models other then the S series as thats all they been covering the last 3 i went to but each are very informative .. i.m.o. the best way to learn is to be working on a machine & while on a p.i.t.a call it never hurts to call their tech service line up .. ive picked up a little bit in my early days from doing so ..... but if spare time permits do the school . from what i hear it is very hands on & well worth it

I went to the school AFTER I had been working on them for some years. I still learned alot and got some good contact numbers. I also get alot of info from the other techs that go to these...tricks that aren't in the manuals.
