Just curious....
Do your customers allow PMs on their racks/ HVAC systems? What rack PMs are allowed?
At the very least on the racks we change liquid/suction filters annually, oil filters every other year, clean evaps & condensers annually, tighten terminals annually, and visually inspect all components annually. Refrigerant levels are noted on every call. If there is any variation, a complete leak check is performed. Most of the stores have multi-zone leak monitors.
With that said, compressor failure is minimal. I have a small group of stores that has not done PMs in the past. They have excessive compressor failure and very high service call frequency.
