I have a Taylor Single Flavor Soft Serve 750. The machine works perfectly while on auto, but once the machine is put on standby the problems start. The milk stays cool at night but when I come in the morning the milk has waxy milk clumps in it. The milk isn't soured or bad, but waxy like when the machine hasn't been cleaned in awhile. If only that was the problem, but i'm cleaning and tearing the whole machine apart every morning. I'm not an expert so I know that I need a service man, but I'm hoping that someone can give me a clue as to what is causing this, that way I can give the service man direction in what needs to be fixed, and not waste money having them change all the parts I've already changed.

The Taylor model 750 is not a heat-treat machine and requires that you break it down and clean it daily. Mix can be stored as re-run if your health codes allow. If you do not have a manual to do this go on the Tayor website...they offer them for free.

:ditto: Whats up with the evaporators on those units ? I have a customer with one and found a leak in the evaporator. Imposable to repair and the replacement coil price is outrageous.

The "shell" as it it called is warrantied for 5 years as well as the compressors. Leaks in the shell usually present themselves prior. Never had one leak on me but I have had to change one due to a crack in the barrel...two day job!
