Going to buy a new vaccum for the upcoming heating season, i really want one that can be corded as well as cordless. i found these 2 vaccums, any opinions on these or any others?

I have one like the 2nd link portrays. It's not the one size fits all best vac you'll ever use. But that lil thing is pretty dang handy!

Especially back in the resi days when you'd do change outs or finish a basement, made clean up a breeze.

+1 for the second link - it'll drain a battery fairly quick, but it's super handy. You can clean the filter by carefully tapping it on the inside of a dumpster.

I have the same one in link 2. It's handy for small jobs. It does drain batteries pretty quick.

from what i can tell the one in link 2 cannot be run by cord at all and strictly relies on batteries, am i right?

For a corded vac. and for the price I would try one (or more) of these >stack 5 buckets in your truck and you have a 25 gal. capacity vacume.
