ww2 got started for essentialy same reasons we got into iraq, everybody knew what the japanese were going to do it yet the world refused to admit it and just closed their eyes and it took the death of 1700 sailors and civilians to open the country's eyes, the intelligence was there and it was disregarded. the usa initially took on the burden of the war on its shoulders and paved the way to free the world from this oppression it was paid for with blood and a lot of it, and the world has forgotten all of that, nobody said this situation is any different or cheaper, its just that present population does not know what oppression is like. they have lived a life of pleasure and luxury, and the third world countries do not apply. complicating the issue is religion, for this there is no clear and easy answer. compounding the issues at hand are the news meadias, reporting in gross details the bombings and the servicemen who get killed, this has a detrimental impact of forcing people to want to withdraw into their shell and come out later when it is safe. well gentelemen we can't be road gawkers and have to security of the road dividers separating us form the carnage. the problems of the world have been heaped upon us and its too late to refuse to do anything, anybody running for office can and will promise you the moon and the stars yet think who will pay fot their actions it will not be democrats or rebupblicans, it will be americans get off your asses and admit this, party lines are only on paper, terrorist dont ask before they detonate a bomb or pull the trigger, heck they dont even distiquish between children od adults so to them it does not matter. we could pull back from the world back to fortress america, but would that solve the problem. no, delay it maybe until we die and our children inherit the problems and they will probably pay more than we would.
