fed tax on mini splits

I am searching sanyo, and fujitsu sites and it seems that fedral tax credits are only for the heat pumps not the cooling only units?Is this rue or do i need to do ore research?

Should be on both HPs & ACs. The rating requirements for ACs are higher & may be difficultto obtain.

First, it depends on the size of the equipment how many models each manufacturer offers. Second, the dollar difference between a HP and AC only equipment is usually not much. We've installed only 1 straight AC unit all summer and that was for a church classroom on a very tight budget. Try Mr. Slim. Maybe they've got something that'll fit.
