Hows it going? New poster here from south florida. I work apartment maintenance on a property with three story buildings. Each apartment runs into a common drain shared by the other two in that stack. Its humid as all hell down here so needless to say my number one problem is leaking AC. Sometimes if the clog isnt bad i can just hook a shop vac up to the drain outlet outside and clear it. But all too often that is not powerful enough. I dont want to flush it with water or nitrogen in fear of flooding another apt and/or blowing the drain open in the wall.

What would some of you guys suggest? Im really looking to cut down on the amount of time it takes to successfully clear a drain. Thanks in advance!

having started in apt. maint. myself some 28 to 30 years ago... with three floors you need to be careful.. I bet all three tie toghter in a "t". what I do is all 3 drains when you have one with a problem-- start on the 1st floor and clear it and move to the 2nd floor and etc.... not really a fast or easier way than to do it right the first time
