I am thinking about buying one. Does anybody use them?
Are they really comfortable and reduce stress on spine?

Here is an example:

If I thought it would be good I'd first try one at the office store or maybe first I'd consult my chiropractor.

Well leave it to me - was thinking that would be good for a little naughty buiness with the wife.

They are really comfortable for a short while and then very uncomfortable the rest of the time. I prefer chairs myself. The novelty of those things wears off fast. I know two people that have experience with them and neither of them liked those chairs.

Thanks for comment. I was afraid that few minutes trial in Office Depot would be not enough to see how comfortable this chair really is on the long run.

That's exactly what I was thinking :D
Well, I mean not with YOUR wife, I mean ME with MY wife.
I've seen a few of those at garage sales, which isn't a real good testimonial. I always wonder what people could do while they're in that ridiculous position. Guess I have no room to talk, though. When my back is bugging me, I get into my gravity inversion table and hang upside down. Wife says I look like a bat.

That could be fun ;)
I was thinking about gravity boots for my back. Does it help?

The boots were a little too violent for me. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. With the inversion table you can set the angle and start out a little past horizontal and work your way up slowly. It's also easier to get out of. The boots I've seen are just boots with a hook on the back of them which you hook over a bar. It puts way too much stress on your ankles and other body parts and are sometimes impossible to get out of unless you're Houdini or have a strong assistant.
