funny the kind of things we are debating across the country and the whole economy of the world depends on oil, and water. Both of which we are loosing quickly in the bigger picture. What do you think will happen when things start to get rough for the non-third world countries? If china runs out of water, which is happening, who will feed them. If they are hungry what will the government do to feed them. Will we look back on these times as being very safe and peaceful?

think of the poor farmers in nevada, with las vegas. Here water is used and totally wasted just for kicks in fountians and looking pools. mind you this is in a desert. what are we thinking. I guess we are thinking the american way, resources are endless?

but people believe you can buy air, food, and water. besides those that can sell it are not at want for it or they would not be selling.

you got that right. I think a lot of people are going to have a rude awakening one day. A lot of people have become spoiled, when reality hits it will hit hard.

part of the blame lies with the federal gov who apportioned the water distribution without regards for the locals or the envirorment, just look at who controls the hoover dam along with the electricity generated. good example, people who raise horses in kentucky dont feed their animals grain or grass grown in the state but would rather buy them from california, their excuse its CHEAPER TO IMPORT THE STUFF THAN TO BUY LOCALLY. how do you explain that when the water used in california comes from arizona, nevada and utah.
