Invited to buddy's lake house party when AC puked on the holiday weekend

Some buddy uh to call me in mid-party when AC took a dump? I was 70 miles away but went anyway. Got the AC squared away and he was showing off his new MasterCraft $70.000 performance ski boat. I mentioned to him I had planned on driving it which he said no way. Personally I didn't blame him, the lake was packed and I drive a boat once a yr.

I reminded him I hyjacked his brand new Hummer for a joy ride when he got it not long back. A couple min. later he thought what a good idea to take me out to drive his new boat.

So I hyjacked a couple nice grilled steaks going out the door when we were leaving. Want to be my friend too?

That's no friend, that's a cheap customer. A friend would have invited you BEFORE the AC stopped working.

If he didn't pay you I can see why...all his dough's going into that boat. The least he could've done is offered everything you appeared to prod him for but without you asking first...drive the boat, steaks, beer, whatever...for the work you did on the a/c.

I would've told this guy to make it worth my time if you want to pay me other than in cash.

For me, only close family and friends get my time for other than money. And they know not to take advantage. That's why I'm willing to help.

A doctor at Rotary told this one.

He was at a party. Having a good time. The hostess introduced him as Dr. Smith to this 40 something lady. Well the middle aged lady started asking this poor doctor all kinds of medical questions and bugging the crap out of him.

So finally he said to the lady,"Go into the bedroom over there and take off all of your clothes and I'll be in in a minute to give you a complete examination."

Oh I knew I was getting the scam. This guy and I go back a long ways and he did a lot of biz with me and I did a lot of biz with him. Some how we developed a trade out thing which turned into a friendly who can get one over on the other one. There is a new wireless computer system in the secretaries ofc he put in 6 monthes ago Ive gotten no invoice for.

Yeah I belonged for a number of years. I dropped out to go to college about 3 years ago. Since I got my degree,I guess I'll have to join again. They keep bugging me to get back in. Mary Lou is in with the Lions.

Yes you should rejoin. Mary Lou should drop out out of the Lyons and sign up with you. She may could share some of your effective shmuzing techniques with the club.
