The commedian not the news caster.

I know alot of Reps don't like him because he does not think the Reps and their current hero, Bush, are perfect. He says it like it is.

He said on his show last week:
The Republicans are quided by their emotions. The Democrats are quided by the minds. That makes lots of sense to me. Emotions are easier to appeals to in these emotional times, therefore the reps are getting more support. It is very hard to appeal to all of the intelectual factions. The Dems are trying and failing.

An example: Bush1 said "No new taxes". People beleived him because they wanted to follow their emotions. The mind is going to tell them that we can't live under those crippling deficits too long. Taxes would have to be raised. (Politicians do not have to cahonnes to cut spending.) Emotion won over facts.

By the way, that tax increase was one of the reasons behind the economic prosperity of the Clinton era. Reagon spent us into the poor house stimulating the economy. Bush paid for it, but Wall street was happy the government was solid again. Economy grew and Clinton sat on his butt taking credit for it.

It's about time that guy said something positive. Every time I turned him on he would be interupting more than Chris Matthews if you can believe that .

Clinton is closer to Reagen than Bush is. It kills me the way some people can down-play all the good the man did, because he had bad intentions. (Kerry did not go to Vietnam to be a good citezen. He went to die for his country to be just like Kennedy and be president.) Give me a break, PLEASE. The die-hards in both parties just see what they want to see. Some people complained about Reagan then praised Clinton for doing the same thing. Other people did the same to Clinton.

Enough rant on the stupid people.
