trane rtac155 chiller system #2 comp has heavy noise on discharge line & oil seperator,load & loads normal ,compare to other system 10'f oil temp high,
can any one help me to eleminate this abnormal noise.reading is (mentioned below)taken at ambient of 113'f

113F/45C that is a decent ambient, with 14706 sarts the compressor hours must be up there.

A simple suggestion but would first recommend you check the oil level in this circuit if you have not done so. With screw chillers the oil level in the seporator plays a huge part in noise attenuation.

Ditto on Screwits post . Oil level . If thats good it could be a broken discharge check valve spring .

I'm with the other guys on this, if oil level is low add a little OIL00048 and see if it quitens down. If it does you prob. have oil in your evap. Run circuit unloaded, yes unloaded to get oil back, then you might have blow some oil back out. Check oil return valve on bottom of evap. to make sure it's open.

If the oil isnt on the floor its in the evap . DONT PUT OIL IN IT YOU WILL MAKE IT WORSE . Run it unloaded to bring the oil back , and figure out why it went into the evap in the first place .
If the oil leaked out then yes add it to the correct level .
