Johnstone #H25-710
six piece posi-lock puller set
Has anyone used one of these yet?¿?I bought one a week or so ago and have had nothing but complete success with it. Ive used the ultimate puller and a few other gizmos before with so-so luck, but none of which has compared to my new toy. The only downside to it though is it is kinda of pricey, however it is versitile enough that it does puleyys as well as fan and blower wheels. With the success I've had with it, it has more than justified the cost IMO

saw today in the monthly johnstone sales paper that they have this kit on sale this month for a considerably lower price than in the catalog

Yes, that ***** is bad!!!! I got it for a couple hundred. Keep the acme threads with a little grease and it will pull anything.

And I agree, the cost is justified for what it does.

On mine the stem is too short to push the shaft all the way through most hubs without adding something to help. When I called them they said it was designed for auto service and a longer shaft wasn't needed. But it is marketed as an HVAC tool.
I think it is a great puller, have several and I think the new ones may be longer.
