Last weekend my kids MADE me ride on this Sky Coaster ride in commemoration of my 60th birthday. I think they are after my money.

Has anyone else ever taken a ride on one of these contraptions?

10 years ago some of us from the shop went to a park. 3 of the guys went on one of them together and had a blast. I was not one of them :D

Did it once ! man that thing is higer than it looks. but it was real fun. the attendants on the ride tried to make like the rigging was past due to be changed. BS !

I just rode something like that at the Iowa State Fair with my sister-in-law, since two ride at the same time. It was funnnnnnn as hell, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

The guy strapping us in tried the freak out thing on her too, said. "yeah, we're still getting used to how these straps work, just put them on this morning, the others broke yesterday" :D ...oh the look on her face :D .

Did you get your ride recorded? There was a video cam attatched to ours that recorded us, pretty neat.

Every time I'm in a helicopter or on a roller coaster and knowing I make a living fixing broken mechanical stuff....I keep thinking..."There's a finnegan pin fixing to let go...I just know it"!
