Size ventilation system

I have a work bench area of approx 4'x 20' that needs to be ventilated to the outside to exaust potent glues...I need the formula to compute the sizing of the exaust fan and necessary cfm's

To my knowledge there is no hard fast formula for this. You might want to use ASHRAE manuals for venting to see what the CFM requirements are. The sizing of the duct can be determined by Q=A*V. If you are a homeowner installing this in your garage you might want to think about consulting or hiring a professional.
