Hello all,
I have a job that just scrambled a compressor controller the version of the controller is obsolete. We need to upgrade all the controller versions and the OITs. I have never done this before is this fairly straight forward or not.
Thanks for your input.

If you need to replace an obsolete control I would look at Micro Control Systems. mcscontrols.com. Good product with great support. That is what I would do if it was me. Talk to James.

If you are strong at wireing, you'll do ok.McQuay retrofits have a lot of wireing to do,and you have a duel so you have to do it twice.Remember to mark your teminal strip number with the original wire number and where it goes to on a note pad, every wire!!.This will help when you are putting it back together. You have to figgure out how to mount the compressor controllers on the back and how to tie in all the old conduits neatly .I used a electrical 4x4x24 box to tie the old conduit on the bottom and ran flex to the new controls on top. Here is a retrofit manual.Good luck.
