Hi all the question came up on the recovery tank.
when reclaiming old freon from high and low side do you use
the vapor valve or liquid valve on the tank?

If your talking about a push/pull then vapor. Otherwise it doesn't matter much.

Read the directions/instructions that came with your particular recovery unit.

Always put it in the "vapor" valve, lest the head pressure blast the dip tube off the fitting, and you're then relegated to doing the old tank flip to get liquid OUT of it, if the need arises...(Real important on large cylinders, but the little ones can be damaged, also.)
