Just curious...
Do you get your name from the 'South Park' character?
If so, that is funny as h---!!!

08-21-2004, 10:25 AM
Basically. My name is tim and everyone started calling me timmay based on the show. However i had not seen the timmay episodes of south park yet and just thought it sounded cool. so now i stick with it AND every one yells it at me.

Well to give you an idea how old i am,
I designed the shot put ring at the first greek oylimpics.
I was a scout for general custer at the little big horn
I washed dishes at the last supper.
BUT,,, I invented the first butt scope & it`s still in use by DICE once a week,A 3 ft. garden hose with flashlight attached.
I`ll be 63 in feb.
Diceman
08-21-2004, 11:04 AM
So that means you are 62 now, right? Just checking the math here as I think he asked how old you are, not how old you will be in Feb. Don't rush it Birdy, you ain't got that much time left ya know.

We have virtually three generations of American workers on this board.
We all come from different times, different backgrounds, and different influences.
Everybody from their ...
20s ... to 40s ... to 60s.
What a wealth of knowledge to have three generations of professionals in this trade all hanging out in one place.
Well, there is one youngun below twenty - Dice (he's only 19)

You're doing pretty good.
I figured my half way point was at about 25.
That's how we do it in my family though...
Burn out instead of fade away.
But enough 'death speak'
Besides it's hard to calculate when life is half over... You could walk out to the mailbox and get hit with a meteorite right smack dab between the eyes and drop dead instantly.

I worked with an old Italian dude( Malio) who use to say take your 6'folding rule(rember them) open it and put your finger on your age to balance and that's where you are in life so unless you expect to live to 102 you're,well past half of your life.

A bunch of kids! I started Climatemakers in 1953 when I was 32 years old after spending 3 years in the service (WWII) and 8 years learning the business.
Climatemakers is celebrating it’s 51st year this year and though I still go to the office once a week my chief contribution is building our website and believe we have one of the best in the country. Would love for you to visit http://www.climatemakers.com and voice your opinion.
As you have no doubt figured out, I am 83 years old (7/22/04).
