Psychotic Dispatchers ...

Anybody out there work with a psychotic dispatcher ?

Maybe not psychotic......... you just have to realize that dispatchers don't know what it is like in the field..... they have a certain number of calls that have to be serviced and a certain amount of technicians to work with.... sometimes they seem batty, but they have a job to do also.... just me point of view.

Oh, I realize all of that, and more.

Above and beyond that ... my dispatcher IS psychotic.

Old boss hired a real doozy, scratch man voice, used to dispatch for a trucking company, real winner. Would NOT shut up on the radio, overbearing at the office, 1 week on the job and she was chewing the service techs out for any and everything, 1 month of her and I had enough, dropped my van off at the office over the weekend lol

top-notch....maybe file a sexual harassment complaint with management :D

But she has been there for about 20 years ...

This WOMAN? actually seems angry with me for denying her.

It's not like I was rude, I have a wife and child. She flirted for a while, and once I didn't reciprocate, it's like she HATES me now.

I mean, I have never given her a pain or been rude in the LEAST ... not one time in two years.

I just go to work and do my job, no personal connections, you know what I mean?

I'm one of those people who HAS to be that way, I can't play all of the games, or be petty, because when I am mean, it is completely unacceptable and way over the top. Basically, I have a real attitude problem, that DOES NOT show on the clock.

So I keep it canned from 9 to 5...

She sure is nuts. she reminds me of my buddy's girlfriend. I turned her down for obvious reasons and she turned on my like the way your dispatcher is to you. I just kepted being normal with her and she came around. No hard feelings in the long run.

I am confident at this point I can be of help and totally objective to this stirry situation t-n-t. Shall I dygress?

I got called out on a saturday and found myself at a house with an extrordinary drop dead looking, fun personality, very wise to what her prob was called me for Lady. KILLER for a figure blond. (doesn't have much to do with it but I had to say it) After getting done with the svc task we started talking.(decided I best have the beer she offered too as not to be rude) Turns out she was a dispatcher for a nationally known commercial HVAC svc. She was responsible for running 18 commercial svc trucks. I picked her brain to see just how much she knew about svc and the biz and I walked away absolutly knowing she certainly knew my job and a whole lot more.

Oh.. Ur..Ur sorry I was lost in thought there for a moment.

I believe your whole problem in this situation at hand is...

You can't get past the BEARD!
