any one know any site with icon pictures of hvac stuff that can be used to make buisness card, i'd hate to spend lots of time photoshop trying to create actuall images, im not looking to make the flashiest cards but something at least updated, just looking for characture sort of pics(gages, outlined furnace)nothing with a tons detail, my boss is still using cards from 20 years ago when he started the buisness, i think he got a great deal on 500,000 or something they are just too plain, but he's gonna pay me to design a new one and i searched all sorts of web icon sites and nothing pertains to hvac

Man, I figure people will be hirin ME. Not a furnace. I put MY LOGO real big in the middle of the card. When I put my card in a customers hand, I want them to see MY NAME first thing. Not some cutesy picture of a condensor. Shrunk down that small, what good is it? My cards and ads all feature MY LOGO just huge. When it's time to "call the man" most of my customers look me up in the white pages (pay for a logo there too) instead of thinking "Hey, wasn't there a card here with some company and a picture of a furnace, gauges, condensor, pickup, all that? Lets open the yellow pages and see who that might have been".

I must agree go with a logo technical minded people are the only ones that are going to appreciate there being a unit or furnace on your cards. I had some new ones done the other day and you be supprised of how things change half the information on the old cards was now obsolete, email, fax number had been changed. The best advice I could give is a simple card that will describe your business at a glance.
