I'd be interested in a PDF version of that manual also. Or even a hard copy ( if you can afford to give one up ) I can convert it to a PDF manual if I get a hard copy.
I have a building with about 800 of the old JCI VAV boxes and I have a Y199 but can't figure it out so I can adjust the flow parameters.
Anyone have any ideas where to find a manual for these dinosaurs? ;-)~

I know it's been a while, but are you still looking for a manual for the Johnson Control Y199 tool. I have a pocket referance that I can't let go of, but I might be able to make copies or have copies made.

I did manage to find a mangled copy that the building operator had and muddled through ( sort of )
If your version has the complete documentation, I'd appreciate anything I can get my hands on.
I don't blame you for not wanting to let go of it so I'm very thankful that your even willing to get it copied.
Could you scan it into and electronic copy?

I have a lot going on right now, as soon as I get a chance I'll do what I can, it is a pretty extensive booklet so it may take a while. I know what it's like trying to figure these things out without the right information. Please rest assured I will get it to you as soon as I can.

Well, as I said before this booklet is pretty lengthy. There is about 100 3"X 5" pages with printing on both sides. This would take for ever to scan or be very costly to have duplicated. I have my Johnson Control representative checking on his end for a spare copy maybe laying around at the local office. He is also checking to see if maybe there is already a pdf version that exists. If this doesn't pan out, maybe you could let me know which version of controller you have and I could just make a scan of that section of the booklet and send it to you. The fifth charactor of the controller model number would be what I needed. It should most likely start with "C500_". That underlined charactor would be what I need. There is also a "C200A" and a "S500D".

Thank you for 'anything' you can provide
I will be on site again soon and will see if I can find the info on the controller.
I have no qualms paying for a manual, if you get a price for making a duplicate, I would gladly send you a money order, cheque, etc. (of course, the price being reasonable )
I have the ability to convert a document into a PDF fairly easily as my scanner accepts multiple sheets at once and will assemble them into one document. ( I'm sure most copy places can do it also )
Thanks for your time and I'll get back to you asap.
